"I cannot explain the happiness I felt when I saw the M-pesa message. All I wanted to do at that moment was to share the news with my group members, but it was way too early to wake them up, so I had to be patient till morning. I could not get any sleep for the rest of the night because I was busy imagining how I would spend the money."

"My top concern is gang violence and crime because that has been happening for some time and I have seen people losing their lives. Secondly is sexual violence because a lot of young ladies are forced into sex and end up getting pregnant while they are still young and in school. Lastly is unemployment because there is no job opportunities and it's very hard to find one."

"First priority I will save part of transfers for at least four months, because beauty business needs a capital of forty thousand, which was quiet expensive that I couldn't afford. Second priority I will use my savings and part of the other transfers to buy blow dry, dryer and other beauty products which is usually important for the business. Third priority I will use part of the transfer to rent place for my Business, because now am mobile, meaning that am moving from one place to another just look for customers. Whereby it will be important to me to have a fixed place."

"I will first save the money. My target is to run a play station and to boost the business that I used to have of selling movies. For now I will go on with life as usual as I save.
Secondly, I used to have a movie shop, but I had to close it. There was no flow of customers, the place was insecure and I did not have enough knowledge on how to run it. But know I have acquired skills and knowledge on how best I can operate and I know I can start it again and even put up a play station. Income from these businesses will improve my life. I can move to a bigger house, buy household goods and also support my brother in any way I can.
Lastly, I will use the money to pay house rent especially on months when I do not get enough income."
