"My greatest desire has been to start a reliable source of income but due to inadequate capital, this wish has remained to be a deadly hope. Receiving this money means fulfilling my life desires of starting a food vending point and I intend to spend utmost $200 to do this. This will earn me my daily income that can sustain the needs of my family. On the other hand, I am planning to buy an oxen and ox plough at an estimated cost of $400 inclusively in order to help me upscaling my farming."

"My husband works as a coconut wine rapper, a job that is not reliable since it's a difficult one and at the same time low paying. This has forced us to live a life of sorrow since meeting our basic needs is a big challenge and sometimes we are pushed to seeking help from my relatives if my side odd jobs of charcoal burning has not yielded me income. Therefore, I feel that the lack of a reliable source of income as my biggest hardship."

"My life has changed because I have acquired oxen for ploughing my farm land on time when the rainy season starts. The challenges I used to face are no more. For instance, I offered first casual labour to the owners of the oxen before I could be given a chance to plough. Alternatively, I would also hire but it was sometimes costly. Secondly, I also sleep comfortably my bed as opposed to when I could suffer from ant bites."

"Receiving this transfer means a brighter future for my children. This is achievable through provision of quality education which is my biggest ambition. The motivation behind this is to give them ability to secure good employment opportunities. This will help them to cater for their families as well as help me at my old age. To bring this dream to reality, I will purchase goats for rearing that I will use specifically for this purpose. Besides, we shall pool transfers with my cowives and set up a poshomill in our village. This will also generate income for family needs."

"I have been aspiring to add one cow to the one I have. Since we have one cow, it is not enough to cater for the entire family of 5 members. My plan is to use 300 USD of my first transfer buy a dairy cow to supplement the one I have. Therefore, receiving this money mean I will be able to have a healthy family and I will be able to earn more money through the sale of milk."

"Due to change of climate, we have been unable to harvest any crop in our area. We rely on maize to cater for the family and since we have been unable to harvest any maize, we opted for livestock rearing which is also a challenge owing to the fact that we face long period of drought (like four months in a year) thus getting food for our cattle is hard. The biggest hardship we have faced in life therefore, is change of climate in our area."
