Chepngeno
received a $505 second payment.
"My life is different than how it was before because I have been able to expand my dairy farming project. Due to this, I have been able to provide for my family on time unlike before. Also, I have started saving some money that I am intending to use in starting my poultry project. I already have a decent chicken coop and I am intending to raise it after this rainy season."

Vicoty
received a $505 second payment.
"My life is different from how it was before because I was able to pay most of my school fees. Due to this, I have been able to continue with my studies without any interruptions. Also, I am now a proud owner of a dairy cow. I believe that it will be calving soon and my family will have enough milk for consumption and sale to earn an income. This will also enable me to save the money I would otherwise use in buying milk."

Janeth
received a $505 second payment.
"At the moment, my life is different than how it would have been had I not received the transfer because I was able to pay the circumcision fee for my son. Even though my husband sent me out of our matrimonial home after we received second transfers, I was able to achieve this on my own. I was able to achieve this using the KES 15000 that he gave me to use as transport and to start my life all over again."

received a $38 sixteenth payment.
"I spent my transfer on boosting my cloth business by adding more stock to the business. This has been my main source of income since I started getting the transfers. I have always dedicated part of my monthly transfers in making the business stable by boosting the business so that it may be able to sustain my needs long after the transfers."

Betty
received a $505 second payment.
"We mainly depend on small scale subsistence farming to meet most of our needs such as school fees payment and food for my
family. For quite a while now, the farms haven't been producing well and hence little income from the sale of the farm produce. My children were at the brink of being sent home for school fees because I had some arrears pending for my two children. I am glad that the transfers came at the nick of time and I was able to clear the arrears. I am happy now that I do not need to worry that they would be sent home. Had I not received these transfers, I would have also invested in the livestock. I am now a proud owner of a cow, two sheep and a chicken, which already has started laying eggs. In the near future, I am sure they would have reproduced."
