"I'm planning to use 600 dollars from this donation to start a clothes selling business. I'll be purchasing second hand clothes from Mombasa's Kongowea market and selling them in the village at a fair and profitable price. As a single mother relying on subsistence farming to sustain my family, this will be an opportunity to sustain my family. I'll further use 300 dollars to construct a two room house, one room for my family and the other room for visitors especially relatives who visit me."

"This money means a good and comfortable house with iron sheets as we struggle every season to replace the grass when it rots and the plastic sheet when it gets damaged. We shall also renovate the house by doing plastering inside and outside as well as cement for the floor. We also look forward to a comfortable sleeping by buying mattress as well as clothes. Hence overall our livelihood will change for the better."

"I spent 150USD of my transfer on a 14 Iron roofed singlebhouse for my son who just completed his male passage of of rite and now considered a grown up in the community. Another 150 USD was spent on payment of school fees for my daughter in her fourth form. I also spent 150USD on three goats because they grow quickly and I intend to sell in future for school fees. I also spent 84USD on three maize sacks as food for my family because maize hasn't been doing well for the past seven years in our area and we've been relying on sweet potatoes."
