"In my opinion GiveDirectly does well by giving money to the poor in the community to build better houses and to buy dairy cows and pay school fees. I do not find anything that GiveDirectly did not do well in our village."

"My ambition is to be a large scale livestock farmer, in particular a sheep farmer. I am currently a motorcycle rider, this only brings in an income of about $2-$dollars a day which is very little compared to my family size of 4 and the basic needs it can sustain. Sheep multiply in plenty and in a year a sheep can reproduce twice or three times making it easier to have a stable income once I start selling. One sheep goes for about $35, after 2 years they reproduce and you get 3 sheep. They do not need special feeding and so grass will do.
