"What i like about Give Directly is that they don't push you to do anything for them besides, they don't accept anything from us. What i dislike about Give Directly is that they came in this town registered everyone and gave out phones but they didn't gave some people money."

"The house my family and i built hasn't been plaster because we couldn't afford to pay for cement, sand and even fees to pay the workers. But as i received the second transfer from Give Directly, i immediately went to purchase materials for that purpose. I bought sand for 53.00USD, 134.00USD for 8 bags of cement and use the balance on my plantains and cocoa farm, paid people to clean the grass and planted new ones."

"I thank GiveDirectly for the far It has bought me. My happiness about the transfers I received for the two months, a sum of $.1100 is beyond measurement. My family too is happy and my children can not wait to pass the phone to me and celebrate whenever I get a call from GiveDirectly. May God bless you. On the other hand, I do not have any complaints about the project, all has been well. Thank you so much GiveDirectly."

"I am so happy about the form of help I have received. My children are so happy to have received the money too. I saved the GiveDirectly number on my phone and they know it. They are always happy whenever they see it pop up calling on my screen. They always don't hesitate to look at it and pass the phone to me or even look for me everywhere to pick up the phone and talk to the call center team. No challenges at the moment but to say a big thank you."

"The most noticeable difference in my daily life is the abundance of water, not only for my livestock but also for irrigating my land. The construction of a dam has been beneficial and will be useful during severe droughts. I'm not driving my animals to the community streams anymore, but rather finding enough water within the compound."

"My long term plan is to buy a plot of land. Purchasing a plot would be really helpful as I hope to put up houses/ spaces for rent in that piece of land. I have been using my transfers to run my grocery buisness which I hope I will also get something to work towards building my finacnes . I am also saving an amount towards my goal. I am saving about 2000 a month in my house which I hope to use to buy this piece of land so I can increase my income to improve life day to day."

"My family is expanding, and as a result, our home can no longer comfortably house everyone. I want to construct an additional room for our 3 children this year. It's very challenging sharing our one-room home with them. We believe that sleeping in the same room as our young children violates our need for adult privacy. My husband and I will be able to purchase iron sheets, building poles, sand, cement, and pay the mason's labor costs thanks to the money from the transfer. I appreciate that by doing this, I can instill good morals in my children and raise them in a way that upholds the moral standard."

"My top goal this year will be making sure I can afford to pay my son's tuition, who just so happens to be enrolled in school. Fees have been a fairly consistent concern for my kid in the past, so I want to make sure that he won't have to deal with them this year and can finish his academic year uninterrupted. Since I personally don't have a job and my husband's job doesn't pay well either, I am hoping that I will be able to utilize this money to address this issue since nutrition has also been a chronic concern as a result of the drought. Last but not least, I'm also planning to purchase a few farm animals, such as goats and poultry."
