"My biggest hardship I'm facing now is the lack of money to recondition my house. My house is damaged and I have been living in this damaged structure for the past ten years. And I'm very uncomfortable with this kind of condition I'm in and this gives me the feeling of shame.Although I make small business but the profit I earn from the small business is not enough to buy zinc to recondition my house.I really appreciate any help from GiveDirectly to improve my livelihood."

"My challenges I am faced with is the process of sowing and getting other house work done on a daily basis. For the brushing my family and my husband family do that, but to sow and weed the grass my self do them. The daily house work is done by me; if I had child/ children do you think this will be happening? no but here I am today cooking, washing and even at times harvesting for myself. My greatest life challenge is losing a family and not having a child to help by your side when you really need them. At times I sent my little sister children to fetch water. Money and other are also a challenge for me."

"If I'm successful to receive the GiveDirectly Cash transfer I intend to send my daughter to college in Harper City. She graduated from high school last year but due to financial constraints she's unable to attend college. I really want my daughter to go to college because she's the only girl child that I have,More besides if she is educated she will able to provide for the family . Although I make farm but the money I earn from the farm is what I spend on food and pay school fees for my two children in secondary School."

""The biggest hardship facing me now is the lack of money to support my dream of becoming a successful Cocoa farmer in Liberia. If I become a successful Cocoa farmer in Liberia, it will help me cater to my family by providing them quality education, better food and basic necessities. Though I cut oil palm to produce oil to sell and make money, but it is seasonal which takes place only between February to March each year. This makes it very difficult for me to save enough money to invest in the Cocoa farming. Therefore, any assistance that Givedirectly can render to me and my family that will change our lives will be appreciated"."

"If I am successfully enrolled in to Give Directly's Cash transfer program, I want to use some of the money to pay the tuition of my first son at Tubman University in Maryland county and also use some to also built my house. The reason I want to use some of the money to pay my son tuition is that, since he graduated from high school in the year 2013, I haven't been able to send him to seek higher education due to the lack of finances; Even up to now, he is currently working at a local gold mines as means of earning something to further his studies."

"I want to change my house to a zinc house so I will use my transfer to buy zinc to construct myself a decent zinc house. Because the house is made of leaves, I have to go in the bush often to repair it when there is a leakage, something I am very tired of doing because it affect time and energy."

""The biggest hardship facing me now is money to build my own house. Even though I already have one of my own, but it was built with mud and stick and is not long lasting. I have since been dreaming to build a mud brick house but I have not been able to do it because of the lack of money. The little money I get from the oil I make only cater to food and house keeps. Any assistance that Givedirectly can render me and my family will be highly appreciated"."
