"GiveDirectly transfers helped us as a few miky a great deal.. The fact that we now have a water tank in our compound and which has already collected enough drinking water is not a mean achievement.. We no longer have to travel for long distance in search of this otherwise basic commodity. The whole family is relieved including my three children who would have to travel such long distances too. Furthermore we now live in a very warm house and everyone in the family is happier than they have ever been."

"Yes, My new goal is to start a grocery business once I feel well since I am currently sick. This is because I am depending on small-scale farming, a job that has not been sustaining my family due to the current climate and drought conditions. Due to this, it has caused a lot of struggle in meeting our needs, especially food, and in most cases we have been going to bed hungry."

"I invested KES 20,000 into the kid's education by paying part of the school fees. Furthermore, I spent KES 15,000 to boost my small business of selling dry fish in the village. It was not stable due to low capital that resulted into low-income level. I also bought proper beddings for the family for KES 12,000, acquired a new bed and mattress since I was using old beddings that were uncomfortable. With the remaining amount, I bought enough foodstuff for the family."

"GiveDirectly did well for targeting the less fortunate households in the community. Most of our kids in the community have resumed their studies after the coming of the organization in our village. Previously, most of them had drop out due to lack of school fees."

"In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well for helping the less fortunate with the unconditional cash transfer. In addition, every household was given the right to choose on how to use the aid to better their lives. I do not see anything that GiveDirectly does not do well."

"In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in helping the less fortunate people in the village. Currently, there is a lot of development in our village in terms of the new shelter and most households own some livestock as an investment for their future life. Presently, most households are now happy due to the transfer that had changed their life for the better. My wish is for the program to continue assisting the poor in society. I do not see anything that it does not do well."

"Givedirectly does well by giving cash transfers to each household. This gives a chance to everyone to choose what they feel they most need. I do not see what Givedirectly does not do well."
