"Receiving this money means that i will be able to improve poultry farming by adding more chicken, building a more advanced poultry unit as well as fencing all around my compound with wire mesh in order to restrict the poultry from going to my neighbours' farms to destroy crops hence no more conflict with my neighbours. My second transfer will enable me to add one dairy cow for milking in order to boost the daily income i normally earn from selling 4litres of milk daily produced by my cow at ksh27 per day "

"My roof is grass thatched and during the rainy season it leaks.Getting grass to mend the house has been difficult because of the availability.Building another house with an iron roof is therefore my first priority. The next thing I will plan for is my children's future.I want the best for my two children especially concerning their education. My first born will be joining secondary school next year and therefore I need to boost my income to cater for his school fees and other needs.I will therefore invest in buying two dairy cows.My target is selling 15 litres of milk a day come next year. This will go a long way in helping me pay school fees for my children as well as satisfying other needs."

"It's one year now since I started a family and settling has taken a lot of time. Now that I am settled I need to expand my farming activities.Livestock farming seems a good venture for me.The money that I will receive will make me start off by buying one dairy cow which will cost me approximately Ksh 35,000.The milk will not only save me the cost of buying milk for consumption but also earn me some money through sale of the milk.I will also expand my poultry unit.I have only six chicken and my target is adding that number to 40.This means that I also have to do construction of the structures required."

"My new goal for the next four months is to continue saving in the merry go round. I intend to use the savings to buy a dairy cow. In the future when it shall have reproduced, I will have milk and my children will drink as other children in the village. Therefore, they will no longer have to take porridge on a daily basis because can not afford to buy them milk."

"It has always been my dream to start rearing livestock on my farm. It was just unfortunate that since my husband died about eight years ago, I have not been able to actualize this dream considering that I only rely on the meager income from farming to gather for my basic needs. Currently, the biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to save part of the transfer through a merry go round and supplemented the sales from my farm produce and bought a paged dairy cow. The milk produced by this cow shall double up my source of income after selling some of the surplus produced."

"The biggest difference in my daily is that I have bought a dairy cow. I used to buy milk and it was so costly for me. I depend on casual jobs in the village and the little money I get from was not enough to meet all the basic needs of the family thus sometimes we could even miss having breakfast. I do horticulture farming on my farm and this has enabled me to earn an income to pay school fees for my children and the surplus I sell at the market to meet other households basic needs. Currently, I have enough milk for my family use and the rest I sell at the shopping center to earn an income to pay part of the school fees for my children. we no longer miss having breakfast like we used to do before. My children are very happy they are no longer sent home to collect the school fees because I pay their fees on time. We are so grateful for the support, our living standard has changed."
