"A lot has happened ever since I started receiving the transfer but the fact that I managed to send back my children to school make the biggest difference in my life. Some of my children have not been going to school for weeks due to the school fees balances. This was stressing me as a parent and I felt I had failed them as a parent. I am now happy because they are all in school studying peacefully like the rest. To add to that, I now have a spacious house which I have always been dreaming to own for years. The previous one was very small with a leaky roof and during the rainy seasons, I never had peace at all. All I could do was seek shelter from my neighbors. After constructing my own house makes my life better because I no longer have to worry about the rains like before."

"Receiving this money means a new and separate house for me because I share a house with my co-wife which is not spacious enough to accommodate us. It is also grass-thatched and mostly during rainy seasons, we get rained on since it's leaking. My plan once I receive this money is to spend my first transfer to construct an iron-roofed house and this will give me happiness since I will be able even to welcome visitors to whom I have postponed their visits. On the other hand, I also plan to start livestock keeping to have a long-term project. To ensure this is possible, I intend to spend $300 of my second transfer to buy 10 goats. These will multiply within a very short time and hence, supporting my children's education. The remaining amount will help me to buy a modern bed plus a mattress so that, I replace the old ones. This will guarantee me a better living that I have wished for a long time."

"My life is currently different because it's only through the transfers that I finally managed to build a decent house. It would have taken years for me to gather enough financial resources to build a decent and iron roofed house. Had I not received the transfers, I would still be living in my grass thatched hut. I am at peace now having moved into my new iron roofed house. In addition to this, I am also owning some goats which I am currently keeping in my homestead. I could not afford to buy them at my own cost. To me these are living assets which upon reproducing, they will increase in number and help me out in case of a financial need. Raising fees for my children will not be a challenge since I can sell the offsprings and get some money."
