"I worked as a casual labourer for a very long time. This is because I never had any other alternative means of survival. Being the sole provider in a family of nine children was not an easy task for me. The biggest hardship I ever experienced was the time when I had my two daughters in highschool. Balancing between providing for the family and paying school fees was a really difficult experience. I struggled day in day out to make ends meet and I thank God because I succeeded at last."

"The biggest hardship that i have faced is unemployment. For a very long time, i have not been able to attain a good paying job that can enable me earn sufficient income that can help me in providing for all of my family's needs. It pains me a lot to see my aged mother still struggling with hard work in a bid to assist with some of the expenses. "

"The biggest hardship that i have faced is that of my house nearly collapsing two years ago due to the heavy rains that were being experienced in our village. The damage was so severe such that i could not live in it anymore and i was left with no option but to seek for shelter in my brother's house as i sought for finances to rebuild a new structure."

"I am blessed with four children but all of them have a common birth problem in the sense that-they all have difficulty in hearing. They all bleed in their ears since birth and I have gone to almost all hospitals(within my financial ability) but all in vain. I am hopeful that one day I'll be able to find a cure for their ears. This for me has always been the biggest hardship I have ever experienced. "
