Previously, I used to hire it from neighbour which is costly and it takes a lot of time to get due to it's high demand on rainy season. I using the remaining amount to construct a new shelter for my family since the one I have is old and has rusty roof."

"My life is different from how it would have been in such a way that, I am now a proud owner of a good iro roofed house. Back in the days, I have been living in an unconducive environment and perhaps someday my house would collapse. Also, it would very small, I couldn't even host a single visitor which was so embarrassing. However, I am very proud and confident becasue I now live with all my family members under one roof and there is an extra roof for my visitors. To add to that, I was also able to purchase a dairy cow that is now proving us with milk. I have been able to use few liters for my family and sell the remaining g liter to the dairy shops and generate an income. Therefore providing for my family's needs has been made easier unlike when I used to struggle."

"Receiving this money means a big boost towards satisfying my basic needs. My priority is shelter. I will use 300 USD to build a two roomed house with an iron sheet roof. My current house is tiny and grass thatched. My spouse and I endure a lot especially during the rainy season because the roof leaks. This is always a risk even to our health."
