"The house that i am living in is very old,it has a leaked roof that cannot be repaired. When it rains it is very cold and uncomfortable to stay and sleep inside.Receiving this money would mean very soon i will have a good and safe house for my family. I am currently halfway building a permanent house but the money i get from my dairy farming is not enough hence i cannot buy all the building materials needed at once.I still need $1800 to finish the house.40 bags of cement at $250, sand costing$100and 40 pieces of iron sheets at $250 and $400 will cater for labour. It will be of great help to me."

"Receiving this money means getting a decent house. Currently I am living in a small house which is too small to accommodate me and my family. I have a family of seven children. Three of them are teenagers. This forces them to look for a shelter from neighbors because we cannot spend in the same room. consequently, this has made some of my neighbors to laugh and look down upon me as a failure. I used to live in a two bedroom house but it collapsed last year. Since then I have not been able to construct one due to lack of money. I have been surviving through charcoal burning which earns me $.20 a month that can only enable us afford food.I intend to use the first transfer to construct a three bedroom house that will cost roughly $ 300 so that my children can have shelter under my roof. I will then use the remaining amount to buy livestock as an investment for my children's education."

"I have managed to build iron roofed house. But my biggest challenge has been to buy chairs. I have only three chairs which is not even enough for my family. I expect to cost me 10 dollars. I would also want to buy a cow at a cost of 20 dollars. This will help help me generate more income when i sell milk."

"The biggest difference is that all this year's I had wished for a good sofa set seats to no avail because of financial constraints, I had kids in school and the seats were a list of my priority, when I received my transfer I knew that this was the perfect time to buy new seats and paint my roof to bring in a new look in my home, I thank the organization for the support because it has improved my life tremendously."

"For a long time I have wished to own a beautiful and bigger house. My house is very old, the roofing is almost falling off on one side and the floor is damaged by insects because it was cheaply done. I have been saving up to construct a new house. So far we have bought some construction materials but the process is yet to start. The GD transfer will aid construction of the house by using about $800 for the materials and the remaining $300 I will use to revive my poultry farming business."
