Titus
received a $23 sixteenth payment.
"My life is currently different from how it was four months ago. Several things have changed and more are changing as we go along. I never had a reliable source of income but now I have secured a job in the nearby school. In addition to that, GiveDirectly transfer has enabled me to start poultry farming which is currently doing well. The production from the chicken project is enough for my upkeep and even to save the surplus for the other upcoming projects. All these changes came into my life not so long ago and I am still working hard to see that I expand the project so that I may increase productivity."

George
received a $23 eleventh payment.
"I have managed to invest my transfers over the past few months in farming which has greatly increased my daily income and reduced my daily expenditure. I have chickens that lay eggs that can be sold for money or even used for household meals. This means that my family can never go hungry even on those days that I have no money or have exhausted my salary."

Victor
received a $23 sixteenth payment.
"My additional goal in the next four is to have 100 chicken from sixty which I currently have. The savings from this project will enable me to realize my goal which is buying a plot. With this, I will be assured of permanent investment for my entire family. Actualizing this dream will help me to be able to cater to all my family needs on time without much struggle."

Esther
received a $23 sixteenth payment.
"My husband has been physically challenged since we got married. I was told that he had contracted polio when he was young. He had lived with the condition for long which does not allow him to do any work due to his weak leg joints. Struggling to feed the family had been my activity since then to date; thank God for my sons who have grown big and now able to support me in my daily chores although they have also started their own families which have diverted their attention from the household work. Currently, I am seeing several changes since I received the transfers from GiveDirectly. The biggest difference of all is the ability to fund the Merry-go-round which we started with other members of the village. This has enabled me to purchase a sheep and at the moment with a great plan to start the construction of a new house. Poultry farming which we initiated at home has also picked and now productive; this has served much needs of the household since we are selling the chicken products every day to replenish any deficiency in the household goods."

Ednah
received a $23 sixteenth payment.
"Having a large poultry farming project is among the differences that have occurred. I have continued to increase the number of chicken that I keep which has now become a good source of income. I use the money I get from selling eggs to meet my daily needs and that of my family members especially in buying household items such as soap, salt, and cooking fat. The money also helped me to contribute to my children's school fees payment. By doing this, I have greatly relieved my husband who toils every day in a quarry to harvest sand. The money he gots is now enough to feed the family sufficiently unlike before when we would have to prioritize school fees leaving us with insufficient food."

Benson
received a $23 fifteenth payment.
"I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I shall have saved and with the savings, I will use to start breeding chicken to make an extra income. The profits from the sales of the eggs and the chickens will enable me to start bigger projects such as rearing livestock and I will cut the cost of buying milk."

Roggers
received a $23 sixteenth payment.
"The greatest difference in my life is that I am now peaceful in life. I used part of this transfer to buy a cow and a few chickens because I want to start poultry farming. This business picked up very well. Initially, when I only had one business, I would use all the profit I get from my business because my needs were more than the profits I made. My life is better now, I know that my daily needs are taken care of as I get to sell milk."

Wesley
received a $23 sixteenth payment.
"In the next four months, my new additional goal is to buy some building materials to use in building a better and spacious poultry house for my chicken. This is because the one I currently have is small and the number of my chicken are increasing in number as time goes by. Building a spacious house for my chicken will reduce the risk of being stolen since it will be well secure. The house will also ensure that they are not overcrowded thus it will reduce the chances of them getting infected with some diseases."
