"The biggest difference in my daily life is that l manage to save money in merry go round and spent the savings to plaster my house, since the house was too dust and this was not good for my health. The house is also to big that repairing it using cow dang is not easy being that I am now also too old. I also started poultry keeping where by I have so many chicken that when i have emergency or I want to pay fee for my grandchildren I can always sell them."

Faith
received a $23 sixteenth payment.
"After we have streamlined the source of food for the whole household, I have a new goal to start a new project. Poultry farming is one of the productive practice which not many have ventured into. Egg production and even selling chicken when they have grown enough is one source of capital which will enable me to be productive in other sections. It is my plan to see the project running by August and that will be the start of other productive projects."

Reuben
received a $23 sixteenth payment.
"My new goal in the next four months is to save more money because I want to start doing business. I am planning to start poultry farming. I chose to do this because eggs in our area is a rare commodity. Apart from that businessmen from the city come to our village to buy chicken in bulk and resell them in the city. This means the demand for chicken is very high. Currently, I depend on dairy farming, I at times do casual jobs to earn a living. The poultry farm will be like my alternative source of income. I hope having this will help me take care of daily household needs and the other income from casual jobs and dairy shall be for educating my children and investing in other projects."

Chemwa
received a $23 eighth payment.
"I am planning to save my monthly transfers in the next four months. I am planning to start doing poultry farming. I have always wanted to keep poultry but since it requires a lot of capital I was not able to start it soon enough. I want to start this business so that it can boost me financially and enable to sustain my family's needs. I feel this business is more efficient because I can either sell the eggs or the chicken when I got an emergency which needs some cash."

Julius
received a $23 sixteenth payment.
"The biggest difference in my daily life is the constant source of income form the poultry keeping that I initiated using the transfers. As we are speaking now, work is going on to improve my poultry house. I bought a wire mesh and I am enclosing an area of 30 meters in perimeter. This will allow me to keep my birds safe and well. I will no longer have conflicts with my neighbor because if the chickens are free, they are destructive to some crops. I am already making money from the investment since I collect more than ten eggs a day and thus will meet my daily needs quite easily."

Faith
received a $23 sixteenth payment.
"I believe that my life will have changed in the next six months, in that I will have started poultry farming. Very few people are keeping poultry which means the demand for eggs and chicken is very high. I have always wanted to do this business but due to lack of enough capital to start the business and has made me to always postpone doing it. I am glad Give Directly supported me. I can sell some eggs and take some for family consumption. This will improve our daily diet and also boost our income."

Queenvaline
received a $23 eleventh payment.
"I want to start a project of keeping chicken birds so that I can expand my income net. This is a project which can generate a lot of income for me in the future because for one, the birds take a very short period to grow and there is always a ready market. What I am trying to do is to widen my source of income so that I do not have to rely on only one source."
