"I have a poultry unit but not big enough to meet the market demand for eggs.I am planning to spend the transfers on expanding the poultry business that I do.I supply eggs to Bomet town and the demand is high. The transfers will also help me buy more eggs from the village to add to the ones I get from my chicken. It is cheaper buying eggs in the village.Currently I have 20 chicken and my plan is to triple the number."

"I do not have any new goals at the moment. I still want to continue saving my monthly transfers with the intention of using the money to pay my college fees. I want to go back to school because it will enable me to apply for jobs once I get a certificate upon completion of my course. Even if I don't get a job, the skills acquired in that course can help me employ my self by starting my own business."

Sidi
received a $522 second payment.
"I had a weak door which was so risky because I feared that anyone could break and get to my house whenever they felt. I, therefore, bought a steel door with a larger portion of the money. Part of the money I spent on goat for rearing because goats reproduce twice a year thus I believe that by the end of the year I'll have close to ten goats. My children too had not cleared their school fee so I paid for their school fee so that they couldn't be sent back home for school. This has also given them ample time for their studies. I also bought them school uniform each to replace old worn out ones. In addition to that, my business premise was in bad condition so I bought some building materials which I used to renovate it. I bought food with a portion of the money and saved for future use."
