"If I receive this money from Givedirectly, I will use some to build my house and use the balance to start a business wich will bring so much joy to me. Although I make Cassava farm to sustain myself but the money I earn from from the farm is not enough to build house and start a business. The house I'm in now is my uncle house and I'm not comfortable living in his house. My former wife and I build a house and make large farm to her parents place but she left me for another man and drove me out of the house. I left with nothing and came back to my home town in 2019 to start a new life by making Cassava farm."

"Seeing the new shop that I was able to build from this cash transfer warms my heart. I own a small business selling foodstuff. However, the shop I had before was in terrible condition. It was old and falling apart. I always wished to get some money so I could construct a decent place for my business. This transfer enabled me to do just that. It has resulted in an increase in the number of customers and therefore an increase in profit. I cannot believe how wonderfully things have turned around for me."

"If we are successful to receive the cash transfer, we will go back to school and complete high school. Like me, I am in 11th grade. But due to the death of my parents that were supporting me , I was forced to drop from school. And since my return to our home for over 8 months now, it has been very difficult for me to raise money and go back to school. The coal we produce to sale and raise money to provide food for the home and keep some for medical and school fees, the coal work is very expensive these days. That is, we paid people to cut the sticks. We also credit from our. business partner to be able to speed up the works relaxing to the same coal production. . As the result, we go into too much debts. And like that, we don't earn more money after all these deductions during the sale of the coal. So, if we receive the money, that will be a great help for my to complete high school while my partner continues here education too."
