"I have four children who are currently at different levels of secondary school studies. Paying school fees has been one of my greatest challenge among other needs of my family. Once I get some money from GiveDirectly then my plan is to use the money to pay school fees for my four children and to buy at least one dairy cow. This will make my life and that of my family better in the long run."

"We have a lot of great plans from GiveFirectly transfers. On top of our priority list is to buy one dairy cow. Buying this dairy cow shall relieve us of the stress we have had to go through after we were forced to sell the only dairy cow that we owned to clear debts owed to me by a motorcycle selling company that had sold us on credit. After we failed to satisfy both the needs of our family in terms of buying food and paying back the loans owed to us, we did not have any other option except to sell the dairy cow that we owned. I will be one of the happiest people once we get back this dairy cow. It has not been easy meeting all the family's needs including buying milk for family."

"This money means alot to me,its just a blessing, i will call it "MIRACLE MONEY? When I get the cash transfer, i plan to pay my school fees for the whole year which is 120 dollars and pay for my siblings 83 dollars for the whole year so that i can be relived somehow. I also plan to buy a cow of worth 500 dollars that it will be giving me milk to sell to be able to provide the basics at home. Then the remaining money about 731 dollars i will save it and may be invest some cash in some other things that will give profits in the long run, this is because I am a student and still want to study so the best I can do is to save it for my future studies and my siblings as well."

"The first thing we are planning is to buy a cow that will cost $250. The reason of buying a cow is that it will help us to have manure that will be used in our agriculture lands so that they can be more productive, also the cow Will produce milk for my children, they are very fond of milk. The second thing we will do is to finish our house by covering it with cement, and put a roof on our kitchen, these activities will cost $200. We will also buy 2 mattresses for $50 and clothes for me and my children and my husband that will cost $50. The rest of money will be spent on food items that will cost $70. "I will have to buy like 25kgs of rice in order to have a stock of it so that we can consume it with my family and feel the goodness of Jesus".Said the recipient with a smile."

"My biggest joy is our livestock. When they grow and we're able to depend on as a family. I am happiest when we sell some of our livestock to support our family. Last year, November, we sold one cow to clear school fees for our daughter."

"My mother passed on immediately after she bore me and my father in 2015. I was devastated as I was orphaned at a young age. Being the last born, the absence of my parents made me drop out of school and since then I have been living alone. There is nothing worse than not being able to meet your own needs even when alone. I do hard-earned casual jobs to be able to buy basic needs such as food and clothing. Receiving this transfer means a change in my way of living. I plan on investing in livestock farming since it is favorable here. I shall buy two cows at $600 with the projection of getting ten liters of milk a day in a year. This will cushion my financial independence and also have assets in the future. I am thankful for Give directly will help me lead a better life. For the rest of the transfer ,I will use to pay a dowry for my fiancee and marry her."
