Grace
received a $469 third payment.
"My life is different than it would have been without cash transfer in that I have established a source of income, courtesy of Give Directly, that supports my household needs as opposed to before then when I could beg to support my family. It is a livestock business and I am happy that it picked well-I sell cows, goats and sheep."

Wasingtone
received a $469 third payment.
"I spent my third transfer on purchasing some livestock, that is, 2 oxen and a cow. The oxen were intended to help me plough my farm and others' at a cost while the cow was intended to provide milk for the family's consumption and for sale. Through all these, I have managed to save on the amount previously spent on ploughing my farm and even the amount spent on purchasing milk on daily basis. To add on that, I have managed to generate some daily income from the sale of milk that has helped me in acquiring daily needs of the family."

Vallary
received a $469 third payment.
"When I received my third transfer, I spent it on a cow worth 15000 KES and invested the rest in fish business-I buy fish from the lake in wholesale and sell in retail price in various markets around my area. As a widow, I am the sole supporter of my household members-I pay for them school fees, provide for them food and the rest of the basic needs and therefore I found it prudent to see the way this money can multiply by investing it. I would be glad to deliver the best to my family."
