Molenter
received a $467 third payment.
"Personally, I am not learned, so I thought my children should not be like me and when I received all my three transfers, I directed them to school fee payment for my son who, is in his second year in secondary. I cleared all the arrears I had, and paid the remaining years. As we speak, all the fees are paid for the years ahead of him that is, until he clears his secondary education. I also bought goats that are reproducing in preparation for school fees for my other child who, is in his last year in primary and will be joining secondary school. I am grateful and only pray that GiveDirectly do the same to other people like me."

received a $465 third payment.
"I spent my third transfer on buying sofa set seat , a cupboard and a table.I bought two goats 5000 KES. I paid school fees for my two children who are in primary school and high school respectively , I believe in a saying that says education is the key to success and it used to pain me seeing my children staying home for a period of one month or so while school was in session in search of money from my casual jobs which was never enough and this situation was stressful to. I am thankful to GiveDirectly for giving my children and opportunity to study."

"I spent my third transfer on paying school fess for my girl child who is in high school. She had already stayed home for a total of two years because of lack of school fees and she was almost getting married . Thanks to GiveDirectly I was able to take her back to school and now she is in form three and she is looking forward to complete her education. I am really happy that the transfer I got made my girl child not to go to an early marriage. Thank you so much GiveDirectly."

"I spent my third transfer on paying for my daughter's University education in the Department of Business Administration (47,000 KES). I did this since I am widowed and extremely poor and have no way of raising her fee and consequently GD Grant provided a good chance for us."

"The biggest hardship i am faced with is lack of money.
I am not able to take my children to better schools and yet i would really love that they also study up to higher levels of institutional learning.
I am worried that i may not be able to meet the cost of education. "
