How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now sleep well in my permanent house which I have constructed using my transfers. My family can also afford to change clothes on a daily basis, which was not like before when I used to sleep in leaking house and could put on the same clothe for a bout a week. I could not have managed to get what I have now If I never received my transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by supporting people to construct permanent structures, paying school fees and transportation is now easy in our villages because people have got motorbikes. I have not seen anything GiveDirectly done wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent second transfer on purchasing build materials( iron sheets, timber,nail and cement ) at UGX 1160000, labour at UGX 200,000, food (beans) at UGX 100,000, clothing/household goods at UGX 172000.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I go to socialise with My peers in the centre.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is poor accomodation. I am sleeping in a sub-standard house which can easily collapse with heavy rains.
