How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I always admired the dream of being my own boss and having my success through venturing into a lucrative business which is venturing into a transport business of riding a motorcycle known as bodaboda because it's my passion as well. Currently, my life is different than it would have been if I never received this transfer in that I have purchased a motorcycle purposely for motorcycle taxi business and the profits assists m sustain my family with ease. I have also created employment opportunity since I can hire someone to ride it on my absentia or when I am engaged.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life?
My additional goal is to save part of the profits which I am getting the bodaboda business and start a cereal business with the intention of making an extra - income.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my most recent transfer on settling arrears out of purchasing a motorcycle on deposit. I am happy that I have gained full ownership of this motorcycle of which I enjoy all the profit that comes from it since I use it for a bodaboda business.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different from how it would have been had I never received the transfer because I have managed to add some stock to my store. This attracted more customers because they were sure they had a variety to choose from the goods. They were also sure of getting most of the items they need from my shop. This has led to increase in profits in my business. I must say am always happy and ambitious since everything is working well as planned. I thank Give Directly for contributing towards my success.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life?
My new goal in life that I didn't have before receiving the transfer is to buy motorcycle. I intend to start a motorbike business in order to earn me more income. I do not want to solely rely on my store because a day might end before selling anything but with the motorbike business, I will be sure of getting at least two customers a day. This means our lives will improve due to the diversified source of income.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my most recent transfer to restock my store. The store has been my main source of income ever since I started operating it. Although I had put so much pressure on it to an extent of squandering the profits because I hardly got casual jobs to do to supplement my income for the past few months. I ended up spending my profits hence the inability to restock items in my store. Apart from that, since I did not have any decent clothes and shoes, I decided to use part of the money to buy myself some nice clothes an a pair of shoes. All these could not have happen had it not been for Give Directly. My niece had been admitted at the hospital since she was seriously sick and I contributed the remaining amount towards the hospital bill.

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I will use this money first of all to invest in business by buying my own motorcycle for transportation business. Currently I am employed on casual basis by someone on his motorcycle and now I want to be independent and this business will improve my lifestyle. I will also use this money to buy some household goods like furniture. I will then save the rest of the money so that to assist me incase of any thing in future.
Describe your biggest worry.
My most troubling worry is always about crime rate and gang in my area of Mlango Kubwa where by most of friends have been killed either by police officers or mob/residents due to mostly petty crimes like snatching, pickpocketing and this has led to indiscriminate killings. I also do worry about unemployment where by most of my friends are unemployed and even personally am on casual and this makes income level to be very low.
What are your greatest ambitions?
My ambition is to be financially independent and transform my life and later on to start up a family of my own and give them better lifestyle.
Describe your usual day. How do you spend your time?
In usual day I do go to for my motorcycle transportation business from morning hours up to around 9pm at night. While in my free time I do go for football games and training at our ground in Mathare. I also watch football games.
