How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am constructing a 3 bedroom apartment that will be completed very soon. Nonetheless, I am going to invest bulk of my recent transfer into agriculture by making a big rice and cassava farm. The balance portion of my transfer will be used to buy building materials to complete my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
All that GiveDirectly has done thus far has been upright. It amazes me to see an Organization like GiveDirectly that gives out huge amount of money as goodwill. With these transfers, my life has improved immensely. I see nothing that GD is not doing quite well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My main goal right now is to complete my house project and also invest in agriculture. Hence, when I received my recent transfer, I bought 2 bundles of zinc for $21,000LD. I also paid contractors to rip wood for the roof of my house. Lastly my balance transfer will be used to secure a huge parcel of land for my rice and cassava farm.
