Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to invest more in poultry keeping by purchasing more chicken. This will enable me to have a constant supply of eggs for sale. Poultry keeping is also not tedious and neither expensive as compared to other projects
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I used to depend fully on my spouse for upkeep because I didn't have any income. When I started receiving GD transfers, I was very happy because nowadays I no longer fully depend on my spouse for my upkeep. The money I receive from GiveDirectly has really improved my appearance because I can now afford to purchase new decent clothes as well as I can freely visit my friends and relatives without having to ask for money from my spouse.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is that I believe my poultry project will have stabilized hence boost my income. I also expect to have completed constructing the new house hence have enough rooms for my family as well as for guests. Generally, I believe my living standards will have greatly improved

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The difference in my current life from how it was four months ago is that I am an independent woman that my household can also rely on. With the monthly transfer from GD, I have been able to provide for my family basic needs unlike before when I used to heavily depend on my husband. I access my personal basic needs with easy since I am empowered by GiveDirectly. I currently have more and easy time in the farm since I take fewer minutes cleaning my renovated house unlike before when I used to go round for long distance to collect clay and another time to smear my mud floor of the house hence I see my farming to be doing better currently unlike before due more time given to.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have improved my livestock rearing to semi-zero grazing to maximize the small piece of land I have and since I did so I have enjoyed better returns. In the next four months, a new goal I have for my life is to buy a small piece of land to add to my piece I have so that I can grow livestock feed to help in reducing the cost of milk production hence will have more income to meet family basic needs invest in other goals.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is the renovation of my house. I was able to use the savings I had accumulated from my monthly payment for GiveDirectly to cement my mud floor of the house and this is my happiness since I currently don't have to waste a lot of time every now then repairing it. I have more time to do farming that I used to spend going round different rivers to collect clay hence can enjoy better returns from my farm. It is easy to clean and healthier to live in my current cemented house with my young family since we are no longer exposed to a lot of dust like before. I am so happy that I have a house that meets the current modern in the society hence I am proud of it and it always boosts my self-esteem in the society and confidence of welcome anyone to my place unlike before.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have bought a piece of land and I will have more livestock feeds for my cows. I expect to be earning better income from this livestock keeping since will not be spending again on their feeds like now hence will be more financially stable meaning meeting both personal and household basic need will be easier and I will be more flexible to invest in other income-generating activities due to higher returns.
