Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Currently, I do not have any new goal but to save more money through the merry-go-rounds in order to purchase another heifer. I want to venture into raising livestock.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the purchase of a heifer, after saving for a long time through the merry-go-round group, I managed to accumulate enough money which enabled me to buy a heifer worth 3000KES. This means as a household we will no longer have any problems with milk and besides getting milk to raise we can also earn revenue through the sale of milk.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months if all goes well I expect to have bought a cow. With more savings, I will see the number of my livestock increase every five months. I would have kissed poverty goodbye and stepped into the new land of milk and honey.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Participation in the merry-go-round has been an encouraging factor in our daily planning. It has brought unity in our household and currently we have a new goal to purchase a dairy cow. Since we are both participating with my husband in the merry-go-round, we have a plan to combine our contribution from the merry-go-round and purchase a dairy cow which will cut the cost of buying milk from the neighborhood. This will also be helpful to us since our growing children are much in need of milk at every other time.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Since I started receiving the transfers from GiveDirectly, I have been actively participating in a merry-go-round where we have been paying 2050 KES monthly with the other 12 members. I am much grateful that I have been consistent in my participation where I have been paying the required amount in time and in full amount all that time. Being in this group and able to plan ahead is the biggest difference in my daily life. It has given us peace of mind as a family since we are optimistic about the future since we are sure of receiving our contribution when our time comes.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
in the next six months, I expect to see our goal to purchase a cow having completed. According to our budget, out of a total of 49000 KES which we will both be receiving, we will be using a total of 40000 KES to purchase the dairy cow. We are grateful for the support from GiveDIrectly.
