How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
my life is different now because i have enough food at home. my family used to starve a lot because the only means of finding food for my family was piece works which were very unpredictable. the moment i received my transfers i bought enough food for my family and we are having three meals everyday.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
i feel everything that is done by the organisation is done very well and i cant identify something that is not done well.

when i received my transfer i bought additional food for my family . i also bought iron sheets which will be used to improve my house. the remaining amount was used to buy fertilizer, mattress and other basic needs

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy and after receiving the text from airtel money i went to town the very same same day to withdraw the funds and i was the first person to withdraw money from the airtel agent that day

We are now a very happy family since we are able to buy basic needs for my family and this is happening because of the funds i have received from GD

I have used the funds to buy blankets for my children and bags of maize since we have been struggling to have enough food and since i have bought the bags of maize my family is so happy since we are no longer going to bed with an empty stomach i am so grateful for receiving the funds

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm so happy because i never thought i will be enrolled in a cash transfer programme like this I'm receiving alot of money which i find it had to believe.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm always happy in the morning hours because thats when i get up and go to the farm with my family,farming is the only occupation i have so I'm always happy about it.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
So far the biggest hardship is my house as you can see i haven't been able to finish it and apparently I'm searching for money to do the finishing.
