How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it has ever been as I am cery happy. I am now sleeping on a bed and mattress comfortably, I am also no longer complaining of hunger. All these have been made possible by Give Directly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does tremendous work of uplifting poor households in poverty. The money has assisted me a lot in ways I could not expect. However, I still request if possible to add an extra month so that we can finish what we started and be at a good place as our needs are many.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I planned to build a house so I have started buying materials like iron sheets. The other money went to buying a bed, beddings, food and other housheold items. In addition , I have also managed to pay for uniforms and other needs of my school going children.
