GiveDirectly has done well to give me money that has enabled me construct an iron roofed house and pay school fees for my son. GiveDirectly has only done good and I do encourage the organisation to continue with its good work .
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my daily life is that,I have been in position to construct an iron roofed house and soon I will be moving to a house with a cemented floor. I currently sleep in a dusty house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying building materials such as bricks, timber, and iron sheets that I am now using to construct my house. A house was my priority since buying grass is now very expensive as compared to iron sheets in the long run. I then bought some household items clothes, bedings. My children were sleeping on mats so when I recieved my transfer, I thought of them also having a comfortable sleep. I then bought some scholastic materials for my school going children such that they could go to school with requirements other than them going to school and lacking such materials.
