What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this grant gives me and my family an opportunity to acquire land where I am able to stay and build a decent house. I will be able to add more money on the grant I will receive and buy 28 iron sheets for my 3 bed roomed house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am grateful to God because of the good life and ability to work, from which I am able to get food for my family. I was able to acquire some casual work liking harvesting onions maize, beans from the neighborhood and received $134.16 which was so different from the past year 2017 where I lost my crops due to landslide that happened.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge I face is flood of this place with water from the mountain which has destroyed crops like maize and beans, as well as my house in 2017. I live in fear that anytime the landslide mighty occur again and I have always desired to leave this place but due to unavailable funds, we are still living here.
