How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have got a peace of mind and owned a cow, descent clothes and a plot of land that I couldn't have owned had I not received this transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has done well to give me money, and Give Directly has not done anything bad on my side.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer purchasing a cow at 760,000 ugx, completing payment of plot of land that I have bought at 800,000 ugx, my clothes and for the children at 68,000 ugx.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily is that my family now feeds well because I can now afford to buy food.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money I became very happy and my heart was filled with joy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy a cow which costed me 900,000ugx, solar at 87,000ugx, clothes for myself and children worth 78,000ugx. The balance of the money is what I'm using to cater for household necessities.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is sickness. Am HIV/AIDs victim on ARVs,this is affecting me alot mentally and psychological and i live with fear thinking how my children will survive without me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Normally i wake up in morning's smiling and greeting neighbours.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to buy a piece land and a cow. This land i shall give to my elder son to settle and the cow will produce more calves to cater for future needs.
