How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal now is to continue to grow my business with the previous transfer of money I was able to jumpstart my business an it's going very well and when I received my most recent transfer I usee it to purchase merchandise for my business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I can commend GiveDirectly for going to rural areas and providing assistance to people in need through the assistance provided they have changed alot of people's lives and they should continue to do so. There is nothing I have noticed they are not doing well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my most recent transfer on buying merchandise for my business such as beans and soya. I sell these commodities in the area I stay where at times they can be very scarce.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money would help me to build a house, buy livestock, and a bicycle.The bicycle would help us to travel long distances to seek social services such as hospitals, maize mills and main markets(Ulongwe and Mpale).
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am the happiest in the evening. This is the time i get to chat with my children. Since in the afternoon is when i go to seek casual jobs to be able to provide food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I have faced with my family is when our house was destroyed by floods in 2019. I had to just build a temporary house just to stay with my family while we build a new house in another community.
