How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My current life is different from how it was four months ago as I have been able to meet my family's basic needs and also was able to buy a bull for ploughing so that I do not hire anymore.

I do not have any new goal at the moment but only build on the continuing to boost my business.

The biggest difference is that I was able to boost my business. The profits I am getting are helping raise school fees for my children and I am also able to meet their other basic needs.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to double my profits. My salon was vandalized by thieves and I had to start from zero.As we speak my children cannot sleep hungry as I make money everyday.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months,my life will have changed for the better. My salon will be the talk of town of. I will be tripling my profits.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Were it not for GiveDirectly,my children could still be having difficulties when doing their homework for poor lighting and maybe my two children could be home now for not clearing their arrears. My business could have never picked up as well.

My new goal is to expand my business more from how it is now. I will be able to make more profits.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I faced in life is lack of finances to start a small business which can enable me provide basic needs to my family.This is because I had shop but was vandalized hence making it hard for me to give the best to my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon since I meet different people.This is reduces for me stress.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to expand my business so as to get some money from the profit made to pay school fees for my children and get adequate food for my family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The biggest achievement I am proud of is when I managed to offer better education for my children from the small business and livestock that I rear.This is because they were not able to proceed with their schooling due to lack of finances especially after my husband passed away.
