How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My son had been sick and was admitted to the hospital for two weeks. this left me with huge hospital bills and I decided to issue my title deed and identification cards to give assurance of clearing the bills. I used my transfer to clear all the hospital bills and claimed back my documents. Had it not been for GiveDirectly, my documents would have been still with the hospital.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to take my son to college. He attained good grades in his final exams in high school and would want to give him a chance to continue with his education. His desire has been to join a medical college and I have been trying to so hard to help him achieve his ambitions, and that is my new goal.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life preceding the current transfer is renovating my house. It had damages on the roof which made it to leak during rainy days. I also plastered the floor and walls of my house. This has eased my wife the burden of periodical smearing as a way of maintaining it. Cleaning has also been made easier and quicker.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to expand my poultry farm to be large so that It brings more income. I am planning to start buying more chicks and modern chicken feeds so that they grow and multiply faster to bring me more income. This will help me with paying fees as well as addressing most of my household's needs which are quite challenging at the moment.

I hope that in the next six months, I will have an extra source of income from my chicken project.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
