How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was because I am at peace in my new house. I no longer get worried of rains interfering with our beddings as I used to instead I am able to trap rainwater from my roof. This has equally improved my self-esteem and I can now freely welcome visitors in my house unlike the past when I felt ashamed of my little hut.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal is to start a small business. This will earn me some income which will enable me to sustain my family's needs. My living standards will also improve once I start earning from my business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is having a new iron roofed house. I used to live in a small grass thatched house which leaked from the roof when it rained. I could not build a new house from my own income because it is usually too little to be shared among my daily needs as well as to save. I an grateful that through the transfers I have managed to build a new house which is the biggest transformation in my life ever.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the six months, I expect to have started a small shop which will be bringing me some income. This will give me an opportunity to invest in other projects such as livestock farming. I also expect to buy seats to fill my living room in the next six months. I currently have a few chairs which are not in very good condition.

Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I have a new goal of buying a cow for rearing.. I had this goal in mind but since I could afford I knew I would never own it, now that I'm expecting money from GD I believe I will own one.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life has been lack of a constant source of income. This has at times made me and my household sleep hungry on several occasions. It has also limited us from seeking better medical attention when one is sick. Because of lack of a steady income, I am not also able to repair my leaking roof.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when am through with my everyday chores and get to sit down with my sister in-law and discuss ways on how to improve our lives.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend a large portion of my transfers on building a new semi permanent house on a piece of land that we inherited from my father in-law. I will spend the remainder of the transfers on buying a calf for my household.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement am proudest of in my life was being able to complete my primary education. My father was the sole bread winner on our household and after his death while i was in class five, I never imagined that I would be able to complete my primary education.
