Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy and very excited..The money was like a dream come to my household as it was a means to starting a good life.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
So far, there has been great changes in my household as I food secured until the end of the year.. Also everyone can now sleep comfortably with the new blankets that we have.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With my first transfer I managed to buy 3 goats which I intend to raise in my kraal for business purposes.. I also bought 8 bags of cement for my house renovation and solar panels so that there should be light in the house. Lastly, I bought 8 bags of maize and 2 blankets..Some of the money has been kept to be used for buying minor things like salt.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This is joy to my life because as old as we are me and my husband, we dont dream of ever finding so much money like this. When we have this money I believe some of our problems will be solved such as buying medicine for my husband who is sick
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happy when everything is okay at home, my husband is seriously sick and that doesn't make me happy
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My husband is sick and I lack money for transportation to the hospital and to buy medicine we can't have from the hospital
