What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy sofa set to give my house a new look and 20 pieces of plastic chairs for hire, I bought three wheelbarrows for hire business. I bought building irons sheets and nails for my son to build his house, I bought car battery for my television to keep me up-to-date with news. I gave my spouse for his upkeep and also bought 2 sheep for rearing. The remaining amount, I spent to restock my business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have bought wheelbarrows for hire which gives me income every market day, I would not be doing business which earn me income and also I would not be watching television in my house and all this is because of the transfer. Thank you GD
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers through Mpesa which is very secretive hence no violence in the community. I have not seen anything that GD has not done well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy furniture. I did not have good and enough furniture and when I had visitors I had to hire plastic chairs for them. I no longer hire seats as I have my own. I also bought building materials that I used to build my son a house who used to sleep in a very dilapidated house. He now has a nice roof over his head.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have furniture and I no longer hire when I have visitors. I use the money on something else and that make me save a lot to sustain my family.
