What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on building a decent three roomed house which accommodates my family members comfortably and now I no longer stay in a small squeezed two roomed house six members of my family.I also paid school fees for my three children who are in nursery school 1200 KES
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am happy since my living standards have improved positively than I expected as I have built a decent spacious house that accommodates my family members comfortably and I now no longer face the challenges I used to have while living in a small squeezed house. Having my children go to school comfortably without school fees arrears its very encouraging and promising . All my gratitude goes to GiveDirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by involving the village guides at the enrollment stages hence the administrated boardiers were not passed in each village.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the second transfer to pay dowry to my in-laws since l was not at peace, all the time they would bring issues a bout pay dowry. The remaining balance l spent to buy 1 sack of maize for my consumption since there was hunger in the village and l could not even afford to buy 1 kilogram of maize.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that, l can now afford two meals in a day after l had received money from Give Directly, also have peace with my in-laws after pay dowry to them.

I spent my first transfer on paying school fees and buying school uniform for my children so that they are not sent home for the same.

I started a poultry farming with on two chicks and now I have plenty of them and sometimes sell them to get money.

Biggest hardship we are facing is getting school fees when its needed urgently in school but its not available.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of of the day is in the morning when I woke up in good health and ready for my daily activities.
