Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I remember the moment i received the transfer i was at the farm since it was morning i left my phone home, but to my surprise the child i live with brought it with him since he heard alot of people dancing and singing because their transfer's were in (Zalowa,Zalowa)and then i checked my balance and geez i saw the money,i freezed for a second or 2 trying to take in the thought of me owning such a huge amount of money that i never owned all my life.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
As of now my biggest difference since i started receiving this transfer is food ,i have adequate food and a good sleeping place,as i have already explained that i bought new beddings and a matress and I'm so grateful for everything that the organization has done.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
To begin with i would like to let this organisation know that you have done a very remarkable job, sending out such amount of money to each and every household in this village and also making it un conditional is no child's joke, their are people who would misuse the money but still you take the chances just to accommodate those who really need the money.
With my first transfer first thing i bought was matress and a blanket, its been 7 years since i ever owned flesh good beddings and i thought it to my self that i deserve a better sleeping place, secondly i thought of food, most times we suffer with hunger so i managed to get 6 bags of maize and now i feel safe with my family interms of food security, then i thought of shelter, apparently I'm living in this pathetic house as you can see,but since i have already used part of the money to buy the other things that i also needed, with the house project i have just started by buying materials for example i bought 26 ironsheet and bricks.
I have decided to start the actual building when i get the second transfer thank you.
