How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has tremendously improved in that, I'm a living a stress free life because I obtained land for agriculture. Previously, I used to work in other people's farm land in order to get food for myself. In addition, I bought livestock that I hope to be a source of my livelihood in the near future. In the past, I never had any livestock I could sell in order to get money to meet my family needs like medical.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
According to me, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me the transfer that has enabled me to acquire land for agriculture and livestock. However, so far GiveDirectly has done everything well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on livestock i.e sheep, pigs and hired two acres of land. I'm intending to spend the balance on agriculture.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
These money came at a right time when we are in a dry season whereby vegetables are not there. So these money has helped me buy food to feed my household.
I Have also been able to buy household items whereby I no longer go begging from the neighbours for utensils when I receive visitors.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy when I saw a mobile money message from give directly. I was happy because these money was going to help me from the problems I have been going through for example, Farmland, household items and feeding.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have not been having enough land to farm on and when give directly sent me my first transfer, I had to buy more land such that I will have where to farm on and produce enough food for my household. I paid ugx 1200000 for the land. I also hired a wetland to farm rice on which I will sale and use the money to build my house and I spent ugx 250000.
The remaining ugx 250000 I spent it to buy household items and buying food.
