How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I boosted my bakery business. Previously, my production was hindered with lack of enough capital since I usually waited for all the debtors(customers) to pay before I could produce more bread. Currently, my production process is express because I have enough capital which has in turn increased my profit margins.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has improved my life by enabling me to invest in bakery business with the unconditional cash transfers.. There is nothing bad that GD has done.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
For a person like who had spent two years at home jobless, receiving this amount of money was a miracle. Infact I was overwhelmingly happy after seeing the message of the money in my phone.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have spent my first transfer to buy a laptop worth Ugx 1000000, used Ugx 350000 as a start up capital for a bakery business. In addition, I paid debts worth Ugx 170000 and saved the balance for future use.
