What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have welcomed this project with joy because it will put an end to some of challenges I am facing. As you can see, one wall of my house fell due to the storm that occurred yesterday. This happened last year during the rainy season as well. I have always wanted to build a durable house so I will use the money to buy building equipments like bricks, cement and iron sheets to build the house. I also don't have enough beddings so I will use some of the money to buy beddings. On top of that, for two months now I have been buying maize because the maize I harvested was not enough to last till the next harvesting season. As such I will buy maize as well.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I can say that I have been living in extreme poverty. Now that I have been enrolled in this cash transfer project I am happy because I have hope that things will change for the better in my life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenges I am currently facing is not having a durable house. One part of my house has fallen. I had to take all my belongings to my neighbors house as I begin to fix it.
