What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving money from Givedirectly means freedom on my household. I will be freed from my problems, we have less clothing and beddings, our house needs iron sheets to protect us from the rainy season coming in a month. Thus all these problems will be sorted by this money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the past six months the greatest joy of our family was the gift of our last born child who's now clocking six months. We're also generally happy whenever we manage to find money and eat good food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge on my house is hunger, as someone living in the village compared to people in towns and city we solely depend on nsima as our heavy and sole meal. But it is hard to find enough money to buy maize as now prices keep on hiking everyday.
