Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I currently live in a small piece of land that only has a house and kitchen garden. I have dreams of investing more in farming thus in the next four months, the new goal I have for my life is to buy a piece of land that can allow me to practise more farming and probably buy a cow now that I will have grazing land for it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I am a mother of eight children all in both secondary and primary schools. It has always been my ambition to give them a good education to help have a better life in the future but raising their fee has been too challenging for me since I rely on low paying and hardly found casual jobs. It had been a routine for them to be sent home every now then since I had no time ever cleared their school fees. This was devastating and discouraging made my children drop in their performance. The biggest difference in my daily ever since I received my transfer from GiveDirectly is being able to settle my children's school fees. I feel so happy to see my children in school studying hard knowing that they will improve in their performance and eventually pass their exams.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life in the next six months to be better in that I will have bought a piece of land. I am hopeful I will be doing more on farming on the new piece of land thus will be in process to cut off my household daily needs and probably have some money to meet other needs.
