What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first installment we plan to buy a matress to be able to sleep well and we also plan to renovate our house and the balance we plan to save it and add it on the second installment inorder to be able to buy a good land. In the second installment we plan to buy a land for $500 because when you have a land you get everything you want and we plan to buy livestock, we want to buy a goat for $80 to give us fertilisers. Receiving this money means being developed and having a good standard of living. It will help us get livestocks of our own to give us fertiliser and which we can sell in the future it will be like saving, and we will be able to have our own land which is a great opportunity to receive this money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Receiving solar panels from the government have been very helpful to us recently because we no longer live in the dark and recently we have received modern stoves and we no longer struggle cooking and the time we spend cooking have reduced and this has brought happiness to me and my wife Marie. Having security and a healthy life is also one of the thing that keeps us moving and we are thankful for that.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The first challenge we are facing is not having enough land to cultivate, we have to rent lands to be able to produce what to eat. Another challenge we have is that we don't get enough fertiliser, we currently don't have any livestock of our own to give us fertiliser it require us to herd for others to be able to get some fertiliser to use. The harvest is no longer enough because of the season and lack of fertiliser to use.
