How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I wish that my house that I am building will look good with Cement around it
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD helped us to leave from our poverty because we got food to eat and we got clothes to wear for those who didn't have them. Everything that GiveDirectly has done is good and I don't see anything to change for what it is doing, it should keep doing that.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer I spent it on Cement and Roofings so that I can be able to build my house that has fallen down

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home with my son when I receoved the SMS notification. My son read the message for me and I was so thrilled to the good news. I had always dreamed of owning a pig for manure but also because they give birth very quickly. Owning a pig to me would make a very good and sustainable source of income. I bought a pig, clothes for my whole family and gave money to my husband and child for when they want to buy something for themselves.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
It is safe to say that I am now presentable and I feel like I am rejuvenating since I received my first transfer. I bought a good soap and some good body lotion to take care of myself, my husband and child now have good clothes and shoes and I am able to think of ways I will be expanding the farming idea that I started, thing I could not do before receiving LS1.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received the first transfer, I bought a pig 110 $, clothes for 30 $, food for 82 $ and gave 80 $ for him to buying something he wants. I plan on enlarging my farm with the pig that I bought and selling the piglets to gain income for my household. I sincerely thank GD for their good deed.

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I am planning to work on my house by adding cement inside and other part which is still mud on 300$. I will buy clothes on 50$ for my family and food especially beans on 100$. As I sometimes make traditional beers using sorghum, I will also buy them and re-start the business using 30$. The remaining amount of money will be saved in my saving group so that we can use them in the future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When my husband got the money and bring food for the family, I am always happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challenge we are facing is poverty because there is no balance diet due to the bad season we met. We are not getting enough harvest.
