Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I left my phone home with my husband and went to my farm early in the morning to do my normal farm work. Before midday, he came running to inform me that Give Directly has sent the transfer to our neighbours but he didn't tell me that he has received our transfer. Being so curious I asked him has Give Directly send our transfer? His response was yes right there my children and I were jumping all over the farm. I felt so happy and I am still happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before I could receive my transfer, my husband and I have been farming, producing charcoal and palm oil to support our children but now I'm grateful to Give Directly because the transfer helped me to pay their fees in school without me straining myself with hard work.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought school materials for my children, medication for myself and the balance was used to pay their tuition.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"My husband and I have eight children, paying their tuition and fees at school is a major challenge for us. The farm we made this year isn't that big to get us sufficient food. If I'm opportune to get this money, I will pay my children tuition and fees and hire daily labors to help in expanding our farm."
What is the happiest part of your day?
" For the last six months, there's nothing that has really made me happy. My first set of children (4 kids) father died during the Ebola Cris in 2014. Since that time, due the my low economic status resulting to my inability to cater to my children they have all turn against me. They no longer regard me as their mother. This pains my heart day in day out."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" The major challenge I am faced with is providing my family daily need. My husband and I have to work as daily hire for some people in other to have a living for our family. When ever we burn wood for the preparation of charcoal, we don't really earn much because there aren't much buyer."
