What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought iron sheets and timber using part of my second transfer and keeping the balance to kick start the construction work.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by bringing happiness to my home since it gave money to carry out my own financial activities. It has done nothing bad.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had not recieved the transfer, I would still be poor but since i recieved the transfer, I am now at a better and improved life position than before.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying building materials and I started the construction of my three roomed house which is now at the ring beam level.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The day I received the money I jubilated and chanted songs of praise. I was so happy and I thanked God for answering my prayers through givedirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my life has changed so much because I am now constructing an iron roofed house which I intend to move inyo soon. Before I was sleeping in a grass thatched house which would leak during rainy season.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face in life is my stomach swells some days due to the effect of poison I was given .This is makes me spend alot of money for treatment which i could use for feeding and other family developmets, so my family faces bitting poverty.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is during lunch hours when am eating with my young children they make me smile and laugh and this releives me.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help me build ironroofed house. This will reduce the cost incured in changing grassthatched house materials after every two years, so I will save money for feeding and buying books and pencils for my children in the near by primary school Kotia Mokongoro.
