Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I live in a beautiful house that I build after receiving this transfer.I am delighted to have been among the ones to benefit.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have completed building my house and will be having a tea nursery.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am currently better of as I am in the process of establishing a tea nursery bed.I am working on this so that I can be getting an income from selling the seedlings.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to increase the number of tea plants in my farm.I will also buy a cow.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Losing capital that I had invested in maize plantation due to army worm infestation is the biggest hardship I've faced in my life. It brought financial crisis to my family but with resilience and hardwork, I was able to pull through.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Evening is the happiest part of my day because it is at this moment that every member of my household is at home. I enjoy spending time with them, and sharing the day's experience.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Am planning to spend my transfer on purchasing construction materials. It has been our plan to build a new house for long but due to financial constraints, we've been unable to do that. Now that we are expecting GD money, am seeing our plan finally materializing.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Starting up farming business is an achievement am proudest of in my life. I normally plant maize and potatoes. It has enabled me to provide for the family with ease. Notably, I have purchased six diary cows from the returns I get from farming.
