My goal is to use my merry go round group to raise money for buying a goat. I intend to do this in order to have some livestock that will multiply and be as a source of income for me event beyond the end of the help is getting in the next four months.

The biggest difference in my daily life is the dairy cow that I bought. I used my merry go round group to pool money and bought a heifer that is going to calve soon. I will be making money from milk when the transfers will be ending. I see it as if an extension of the income from the transfers because I will be beginning to benefit from the investment at the end of the GiveDirecctly support.

In the next six months, I will have completed building a house. I will put up a timber walled house that will serve as a living house for the family. I have already bought the trees for timber and am just waiting to get the roofing sheets and then start the house construction. I will be living in a good house that will be cleaner and nicer to the eyes. I also expect to have acquired more livestock, I will have bought some goats to rear and will have a calf that will be from my heifer. All of this will improve my life in many ways.

My life has really changed in a span of four months. As a family, we have done a lot to change our financial status. Initially, we were having three cows to keep in our fields but we have added an artificially inseminated Friesian bull. This has reduced the cost we used to pay for the sire from the veterinary officers. Apart from the breeding purposes, we are also trying to grow it so that we may sell in the future to either pay school fees or in exchange with a milk-producing cow.

Although we are currently having three breeds of livestock to rear, that is one Ayrshire, Friesian cow, and a Friesian bull, we are still eager to accomplish another goal of purchasing another lactating artificially inseminated Friesian cow. We are currently producing twelve kilograms of milk from the two cows and we are feeling that we still have a capacity to produce more if we add the third cow. This is an additional goal which we wish to accomplish as a household within the next four months.

We have a plan to sell the bull that we have in four months time and purchase an Artificially inseminated breed of a cow that will be productive in terms of milk. We are glad that we now have the means to ensure that our plan comes to pass. We have been saving from the two milk-producing cows that we have and we are hopeful that by then we will be having enough money to add up to the accrued amount and purchase a good breed.

Currently, own a dairy cow . I use the savings I made in a table banking group that I joined as soon as we started the transfers. From this venture, I have milk for domestic use thus it has reduce my daily expenditure as I no longer buy milk on a daily basis. My goal for the next four months is to improve my home. The small business that I started using savings from the transfers, I will be able to purchase building materials and complete a nice hous efor my family to live in.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is the ability to pay school fees for my children. Whole others regularly attended school, my children would at most times remain at home because of lack of school fees. This was stressing a lot as a parent because I was not as responsive as I ought to be. when I started receiving the transfers I managed to save through table banking and this enabled me to clear schools fees arrears. I can also pay school fees on time using part of the transfers I get every month.

I expect in the next six months to improve livestock keeping method to zero grassing. I will establish a zero grazing unit form the savings I have in my table banking and also that I get from the milk I currently produce.

My life currently is different since I now have a sheep which is almost giving birth and some chicken. I did not have these things before.

The new goal I now have is to start keeping a zero-grazing cow.

The bigeest difference in my daily life is happiness.

I expect my life to change in that I will be having a zero-grazing cow.

My plan to buy chicken layers in order to ease small school needs.I also plan to buy a wire-mesh to fence my poultry house and my target is to have 100 chicken layers at the end of one year.By the end of two years I also expect to have bought two heifers from poultry proceeds.

My life is currently different because these transfer has motivated me to venture more into poultry farming and maize farming because every month I expect to receive money which I can use to buy maize seeds, fertilizer and increase chicken layers stock.

I expect my life to change financially in the next six months because with these transfers I will no longer borrow money to buy maize seeds and thus will be independent in both crop poultry farming and there will be no more borrowing. In terms of food in the next six months there will be adequate food production.I am also planning to buy my first heifer in the by the end of six months.

The biggest difference In my daily life is that I am happy to have settled fee arrears for my kids and they will never be sent home anymore for tuition fees.
