How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before, I used to walk long distances on foot or ride a borrowed bicycle,with no money to support life. But now, I ride a taxi motorcycle which gives me daily income to support my family, and this brings joy to me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has really uplifted the poor by giving out money that has enabled people to acquire household items and build houses; there's nothing it hasn't done well in my opinion.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
Second transfer was all used to top up the first transfer to purchase a taxi motorcycle.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life has changed because I can meet the basic needs of my family like food with the profits from my motorbike business. Before, It was very hard since I had no source of income. In addition, my movements are no longer restricted during leisure time because I have means of transport . In past, I could not go to distant places.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt very happy. This is because I got money from GiveDirectly to support me buy a motorbike.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have spent my first transfer on purchasing motorbike to easy my movements and for business worth UGX 1,700,000.
